While the ground floor looks no different to your usual sports bar complete with all your favourite beers, footy on the TV, further exploration of the venue is rewarded with the discovery of Lola’s, Clarence’s and the much-loved Dot’s Rooftop.

Lola’s is the level named for the daughter of original hotelier CJ Sweeney, who lived her entire life at the Clarence Street venue and was, at the time, the only female hotel owner in Sydney. This level oozes an old-style saloon vibe throughout making it the perfect place to relax and unwind with friends. Also occupying level two is Chimney Thai Kitchen, which serves up dishes unique to the streets of Bangkok and your favourite pub classics, all in the same place. We guarantee the menu will impress all taste buds and meet your cravings.

Continuing the upwards journey you come to Clarence’s on level two. We recommend you grab one of our signature cocktails or a craft beer and take a seat on our cozy lounges and settle in for the evening. Stay here, or venture to the outdoor beer garden located on the rooftop.

Tucked several storeys above the bustle below floating in a sea of skyscrapers, lies a rooftop beer garden called Dot’s Rooftop, or better known as Sweeney’s Rooftop. Here, in the Sydney skyline and amid the fresh air and warm sunshine, twelve taps pour a rotating lineup of Aussie and international craft beers, from light and fruity quaffers to hoppy and bitter heavy-hitters. The rooftop is also one of the city’s most reliable destinations for finding a tap takeover or meet the brewer session of some kind.
